Our guide to getting started

1. Apply for your CDL at DMV. You must provide proof of address, social security card, and a legal birth document (passport or birth certificate).

2. Pick up the CDL handbook and download the DMV Genie app, then take the written test at the DMV.

3. After passing, you will receive your permit. A permit is required to practice driving on the road.

4. Sign up with us for the ELDT online course at no extra cost.

5. We will schedule your appointment and take you to the DMV to take the test.
